Grain Rush
In the fall/winter of 2003 the grain rush is on in the Pacific Northwest. With so much grain to ship, the railroads are pulling any equipment they can scrounge up to make up grain trains. Evidence of this can be seen in this empty Kalama grain train at North Bonneville, WA with a mixed bag of 'earthworm' grain cars and miscellaneous others. To top it off, this train is lead by BNSF 5601 at one time one of only three AC4400CWs on the BNSF. This power is normally captive on coal trains.
SWEET SHOT!!! Never seen such a nice shot of a BNSF unit!
