Thats the cool thing about CN 114. It always has the junk in the center of the train. Apparently, the first cut of IMS cars aswell as the junk are cut out at Winnepeg for the Fort Rouge and Symington terminals.
CN 114 is running late again, and this time it has CN 5608 on the point! I have seen this SD70I out at Riverview 3 times now... CN 5608 and CN 2414 make up 400HP for CN 114s trip to Toronto.
The title is rather self explanitory; A CN wood train clears Riverview. The lead units were CN 2587 and 5255. Alas, none of the photos turned out half-decent...
Here we see a Schinder intermodal trailer. But as youy may not have noticed, the trailer is strung between 2 falt cars. The two flatcars are permanetly coupled together to haul trailers up to 57' in length. Hence the TTEX "Long Runners".
Here, we see CN 115. The train usually has an average of 3 to 4 units. After going passed the park, he will switch off the Watrous sub at Roskin junction, and go to Calgary via the Rosetown subdivision. Towmorrow, all 3 units will return on CN 114, 115's eastbound counterpart. Oh yeah, the two...
I can't tell if the Engineer is posing or flipping me off. Well whatever he is doing, he is deffinatley aware of the fact that I have a Camera. CN 2230 and 2 other General Electrics move CN 115 to Calgary.
Now I'm sure most of you have seen my many photos of CN 115, but CN 115 ain't the only train with junk up front in Saskatchewan! 2 AC4400CWs head a Westbound at Dayfoe, Saskatchewan.
As regular as the Stack manifest, the CN road local out od clavet crawls passed Riverview with the usual consist of GP38-2Ws. This train even as an old van on the end of it!
Here we see to different eras of CN power! I have to admit new power is getting old real fast. I'm still proud of this cach, none the less. CN SD70M-2 8026 GP40-2L 9437 and SD40-2W 52xx head west on a manifest with lots of other wonderful surprizes!
CN 2237 makes a second apperance out at Riverview, and this time, she's in freight sevice. She seems to be doing just fine scince last March. I also caught sister 2246 the same night with an SD70M-2.
CN C44-9W 2642, SD60F 5550, SD75i 5726, and SD70M-2 8023 speed the stack manifest eastbound. The trains are moving much faster without the bridge crews around.
Milwaukee Road steam engine #261 crosses over the old Wisconsin River bridge as it prepares to stop at the Dells station. The people in that jetboat passing under the bridge had to be surprized by the steam engine.
