It isn't often that Amtrak's Horizon Cars are seen on the Southwest Chief, but periodically they are deadheaded between Los Angeles and Chicago. In this video, we document five of these moves.
November 16, 2017 AMTK 54503, coach car on Amtrak 3.
August 18, 2017 AMTK 54503 returns along with 54561, another coach car. This time on Amtrak 4.
January 24, 2018 AMTK 58106, cafe car on Amtrak 3.
November 7, 2017 AMTK 54561 returns on Amtrak 3.
November 13, 2017 AMTK 54510, 54509, and 54505, all coach cars on Amtrak 4.

Your 4K videos are great when viewed full screen. The telephoto scene of the heat waves is enough to make a viewer sweat.

What is the industry/facility on the siding at the 0:52 mark? Do you have videos of it being switched?

Thanks Bill. I like the telephoto scenes, especially when it's warm outside. Too hot and it gets too messy.
I think the siding is for unloading flour for a general mills plant but I'm not certain about it. I've never seen them switching there, but I think its done on Sunday morning since I've heard on the scanner that the Rosario train that I often video in Bernalillo stops at General Mills before coming north. Some day I'll have to investigate that.
