Well its really a BNSF caboose, but it hasn't been patched. Shot taken along a creek by the Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, near Lemont, Illinois. The local is returning to Hodgkins from the spur by Argonne Labs.

Casey Jones Village - Caboose - M.J. Scanlon

This caboose sits high in the sky to attract visitors to the Casey Jones Village in Jackson, TN. The screen mesh around the bottom of the caboose helps keep birds from roosting underneath, as does the decoy preditor to the left.

Chicago Missouri and Western Caboose

Leaving the South Joliet yard on the old Illinois Central line through central Illinois. This is an ex-Santa Fe caboose. The CMNW was formed by the breakup of the IC in March 1987. The line soon went bankrupt and was sold to Southern Pacific and Gateway Western (KCS).
