We observed eastbound Via #2 The Canadian as it passes BNSFs depot at the Old Yard in New Westminster, BC at dusk, on June 21, 2011. At one time this depot served passengers going on both CNs Super Continental and GNs International.

A North Vancouver-bound grain train sits idle at Willingdon Junction in the midst of a snowstorm. The trains crew has either died on hours, or they are waiting to enter the Thornton tunnel.
This unit was headed south, Saturday afternoon. It the fourth one in behind 3 H2s and in front of a CN C40-8, on a train from Thornton yard.
