It's good to see the ex-BC Rail Budd Cars still doing useful work. I first rode them in 1956 but in the last 20 years, I only saw them when the West Coast Railway Association's tours came up here. And there's something special about street running. And a small town. And sunshine! All in all, a very enjoyable photo. Thanks for putting it up for us to see.

Don't know what the other locals think but this local is happy there is passenger service on the line but miffed that the train doesn't stop at any of the towns along the way (including his own). There are some great photo ops, though.

You gotta love the RDC's. In June and July I spent time working in the kitchen on the L&C and I can tell you that the place we saw photographers most was along through Rainer and by the Nucler Power Plant (too bad I can't spell.) I alwasy thought that the most photogenic place was along the River Just across from the west end of Puget Island, but the problem was at that point you around half a mile from the tracks. If they are running again, which i think they are, I'm gonna go up there with my Friend and use his boat to get some pictures of the train going by. that is if i'm not working...
