The new 1,750 foot span across Quantico Creek is quiet now, but come early 2007, the silence will finally be broken. The single track bottleneck will then be no longer. The new bridge will have room for a third track as part of future expansion. The bridge often delays many of the 60+ daily trains between DC and Fredericksburg, including VRE and Amtrak
