Elmsdale NS Incident

Today, 27 Aug 2010, a southbound CN freight struck a dump truck at the level crossing at Elmsdale, Nova Scotia. The driver of the truck was ejected through the window and seriously injured. He was medivaced by air ambulance to hospital in Halifax. It sounds like he will recover.
Sounds like he is going to be okay. Apparently he got stuck in traffic waitng for the light to change. He was struck well behind the cab. The track is really close to the intersection.
