Cotton Belt still lives on

Snapping a shot of an unpatched Cotton Belt GP60 (on it's home rails) leading a freight at over 55 mph was well worth getting off I-45 and going 20 miles out of the way to chase her down.
Nice to see another neighbor here! With a name like that, anything associated with Flatonia?

Not to Flatonia, really, but I do always go through there for possible photo ops when driving between San Marcos and Beaumont. All of my shots are pretty much across the state; I just rely on luck to find the trains when I'm taking the sideroads. I've got some more photos coming along the way, so look back here by Saturday or Sunday.
