Conrail local at Port Reading Junction

I had been sitting at Port Reading Junction near Manville, NJ. The old Conrail Trenton Line met the Lehigh Line here.

It was getting dark and nothing was going on except for the arrival of the local, WPMA 10, that worked the Lehigh Line. As the train passed me I saw the deep colors caused the setting sun and the railroader on the rear. I grabbed the camera and got the attached shot. It is soft. I was using a 400 MM lens leaning against the car door. The speed was about 1/15 of a second.

When the slide was processed I was disappointed that it was soft but colors made up for any other deficiencies.
