This focal length is what I see a lot of railroaders shooting with... some of the guys in the northeast who I would consider top guys all run the 70-200/4L and have excellent results. I bought this lens before they came out with the f/4 IS although it was for motocross in the beginning this lens has found a nice home around smaller yards, movement shots, on the road shots...
