The Comet DS150S discone antenna receives solid from 25 to 1500 MHz! It can also be used for transmit on 50, 144, 430, 900 and 1200 MHz ham bands (under 100 watts).
This stainless steel antenna is 4.6 feet (1.4m) high and attaches to any standard mast from 1.2-2.4 inches (30-62 mm) with the supplied U-bolt. The mast is not supplied. Weight is 3.2 lbs (1.45 kg).
The DS150S terminates in an SO-239 jack (it accepts a PL-259). Please note that unlike the DS15, the DS150S comes with a 65 foot (20 m) RG-58A/U coax cable with PL259s at each end.
