The GRE PSR-400 triple trunking desktop-mobile scanner offers a host of features and some new technologies. Frequency coverage is extensive including: 25-54, 108-174, 216-512, 764-824, 849-869, 896-960 and 1240-1300 MHz. Available frequency steps include: 3.125, 5, 6.25, 7.5, 8.33, 10, 12.5 and 25 kHz. This radio includes coverage of the new 700 MHz band and has upgradable CPU firmware in support of future rebanding. Ten bank and 1000 channel memories for trunking bank and channel combined conventional mode memory. There is one priority channel. Multi-tracking of Motorola (type I, II and hybrid analog system) EDACS wide and LTR are featured. You get CTCSS and DCS sub-audible encoded squelch modes. A spectrum sweep function detects nearby unknown signals. Five pre-programmed band searches are available (Marine, Fire/Police, Air, Amateur and Weather). The weather alert capability features SAME receiving with 10 FIPS area memories plus there is a Skywarn function. This radio scans at 60 channel per second and sweeps at 75 steps per second. There is a relative signal strength indicator meter on the LCD. Both the LCD and the keypad are backlit. This radio comes with a vehicle mounting bracket and is DIN-E in-dash mountable.
The PSR-400 comes with a BNC telescopic antenna, manual, mounting bracket, AC adapter and DC power cord.
