50 channels per sec. scanning , Picks up real well .
Cons:
Needs a better stock antenna
This scanner has helped me catch a lot of trains and it's my first scanner and I'm shock by the range when tied into my TV antenna (with some mods to the VCR cable .) Would recommend for first time buyer .
