Pros:
Fast scanning, size of unit is small
Cons:
Limited to 50 channels in manual scan bank, the others are mixed in with the pre-programed channels

Sensitivity is 0.4 in rr band area, not bad for a general scanner. I have it in my car using a splitter on my car antenna. The splitter splits the signal to the car stereo and to my uniden. I use the cb on road trips to find out where the DPS and cops are.
NOTE: On some of the pictures (like the one on this page) of the unit on web sites and EVEN ON THE PHOTO ON THE PACKAGE the unit is shipped in itself it shows a programed bank "CB/RR". The actual unit DOES NOT have the RR band pre-programmed! The unit is only labeled & programmed "CB" for that bank. I informed Uniden and they gave me some BS even though I wasn't trying to return the item. I also contacted scanner world where I purchased it from and they pulled the photo from their web site.
