Pros:
Inexpensive, great IQ
Cons:
small LCD, no spot meter, no dust system, limited burst memory cache
The XT is a fine camera for a budget minded shooter. It lacks some of the XTi's refinements, but that is to be expected with an older model. The images it's capable of producing are stunning. Don't let the fact that it's a few years old fool you.

I love my new camera, Its an excellent option when you have to care about money...
With the money difference between the XT and the XTi, I buy a 90-300 lens, so the camera with two lenses cost me US$1000.- Incredible deal!!! (here in Chile)

Occasional shutter lag, but not enough to cause major problems

Having recently switched to DSLR, this has to be the best camera I've used so far.
