Amtrak's Surfliner leaves one of the scenic tunnels at Susana Pass near Chatsworth, Calif., on July 9,2003. This is the same route of the Coast Starlight.

Looks like a model railroad, especially the rocks and tunnel! Great shot...

Thanks for the complement. It was a small hike up there, from a city park at Chatsworth, Calif. Better bring water with you, a cap and sunglasses for sure. It was like 100 degrees up there. Also, noticed a young family - a man, woman and young child - playing INSIDE THE TUNNEL. I told them that's not too smart, but they said they had been there - and walked through - those tunnels many years ago.
