CN 1339 & 1371 built in 1959 & 1960 respectively, both retired 2006, are now safely resting on museum grounds. Judging by the RIMX patch job (why patch the engine #?), they went through Ready Mixed Concrete first, perhaps being merely stored on the property for them. At least they look stock CN, thanks to a lame patch job and decal removal on the hood. Not sure why air hose is tied around 1371, perhaps he is literally tied down LOL.
An old passenger car is being restored in the background to the left, to the right is the branchline to Fort McMurray, AB – former Lakeland & Waterways Railway (Rail America) & Athabasca Northern (Cando) trackage. Both shortlines have been brought back into CN’s fold.
