A set of F-unit helpers cross the Foss River trestle, dropping downgrade to Skykomish. Taken in the fall of 1970, the trestle was under going a major overhaul.

Can you still take this shot? I tried hiking up to the bridge but I ran out of time and the train showed up. I would really like to get this shot if it's possible.

It is possible to take this shot. You can either go under the bridge, take a left and walk up the road to the signals, or you can hike up the steep slope to get directly to the bridge.

Actually, unless they've done some logging in the last few years, you can't get this exact shot. Yes, the trestle is very accessable via the Foss River Road, but the trees have grown up so much on this end of the bridge, you can barely see it.
