I got this photo into a Porsche magazine with the following text: Cayenne prototype? I thought your readers might like to see this secret test vechicle which I recently discovered. It is apparently the prototype of the Porsche Cayenne. Note the central driving position (making it suitable for use in all markets) and the excellent weather protection afforded by the stylish body. As your readers will be aware, the production version of the Cayenne shares many of its components with the Volkswagen Touareg. The prototype clearly shares many of it's bodyparts with a much older VW product...
