or Riverline? Take your pick; this was once the New York Central's West Shore Line (originally built by the Pennsy in an attempt to compete with Central's sucess on the Eastern side of the Hudson! The attempt proved a failure and eventually the New York Central obtained control of the West Shore line. Currently it serves as one of CSX's busiest line in New York State and follows the Hudson all the way from North Bergen, NJ, to Albany. Photographer: NathBDP

Boy! What a collection of color. That may be the best photo I have seen from that location.

thx dawg, the colors actually look a bit funky from what I originally posted them as (I guess due to color management changes from mr. Photo Contest's moving 'em around)
