Well the latest problem at the location is ISP. The internet is dropping out and the ISP sees no problem. We are meeting Saturday. As of now Radio Reference asked if I would stop the stream until the internet situation can be addressed.

Gary, Thanks for the new feed. I too miss Pete Kruml's Stream, He did a fantastic job of keeping it all up. Do you know of any other "Ham's" on this side or even that side that could take over Pete's stations. I'm sure it is a hand full. It was an invaluable service for us R.R. Streamers that love knowing what is going on the Steel Roadway. Pete did an "A #1 Job". I look forward to listening in on your feed. Thanks again. Jon C.

At the request of the local host the feed is being discontinued. Too many issues.

Sorry,

Wish you'd get some coverage of Stampede Pass and Yakima Sub! It would be nice to have an alternative to the Bristol feed.

This is the part of the story where one of the people so excited about this stream are supposed to step up and find another location to host it.

Thank you again Gary for all your work on these projects.

Thanks Tom.

It will be awhile before I am even ready to consider another location. I am involved with too many ATCS projects at this time.

while we are making wish lists, i think the pasco stream would be more listenable if channel 80 (161.310) were removed from the scan. it is the yard switch, but to someone listening remotely, it doesnt mean much. it ends up walking all over the mainline channels too often. the main line channels are where we hear dispatchers, train departures/arrival and train symbols. for me, this is the important stuff.

i know, i know...beggars cant be choosers.

i really appreciate all you do. not trying to whine. just my two cents.

I appreciated the stream too while it lasted. Thanks Gary! Though above all I'd rather have more ATCS streams/routes covered online than road channels.

That is surprising you would need to do anything to that radio. I don't have a Spectra, but my MTS2000 on the Portland trunked system has fantastic audio.
I can be standing next to an engine with the pump running so you can barely hear yourself think and the MTS2000 with the speaker/mic on my shoulder is perfectly understandable. A scanner is just about useless on the fireground.
I'm curious as to what you actually did.
