Default SOO & IC, Frisco, GN in Tulsa, OK

Howdy all,

Caught a few interesting engines & cars west of & in Tulsa today.

1. Eastbound Unit train Kiowa, KS-Clark, OK (U-KIOCAK) had a SOO SD60M on the point as it approached Shirk siding (mp 437.0) on the BNSF Avard-sub west of Tulsa.

6. While going down the public service road that parallels the yard, I saw this Great Northern coal gondola that had arrived on the M-BIRTUL earlier that morning,

Good shots! I saw that spreader on the Cuba Sub last summer on a siding.

Ken,

Great catch! Those Soo SD60M's are rare. I would love to catch one of those down here - maybe a U-CAKBNT or something...

I can only dream. It is cool though that the IC and Soo units had the same numbers.
