1. I'm not sure they would have a need for locomotive manuals in PDF format (Who carries a laptop around while fixing a locomotive?)
2. If they did, people wouldn't go around posting them on the web.

You're probably going to have to go ask some locomotive technician who is very friendly or one that you know, or look on eBay.

I have seen AC6000CW and AC4400CW manuals on Ebay from time to time. Not too many people bid on them (from what I remember), so you should have a good shot at getting one. I was bidding on an SD80MAC manual a while ago and that one went from a starting bid of $5 to a final price of around $30 (I was outbid, by the way). Good luck in your searches!!

Doesn't have what you need exactly, but has loads of EMD manuals.

Late model GE, EMD and even MK manuals are copyrighted.

Posting them on the net wouldnt exactly be Kosher.

The manuals on Fallen Flags however were made before the builders started to copyright such publications.

My question would be, what use would they be to you? I could understand the collecting of manuals if you wanted a physical one, but in pdf?

I don't know about any one else, but I find them an interesting read. I've also read online diaries of WW2 vets. I enjoy finding out how things were done back in the day.

He's probably a terrorist bent on hijacking a locomotive with cab signals and subsequently not getting much farther than the first red signal.
