Default GPRR's E Unit Color Scheme

Golden Pacific RR, operator of the Reading 2100, will be using an E unit to assist on some of the trips.

They're considering what paint scheme it should be, and Mike suggested that we conduct a poll to vote on the colors.

Please note this poll is informal and for entertainment purposes only. There is no guarantee that GPRR will use our suggestion for anything more than a bit of railfan market research.

For anyone who's interested in more information on the Milwaukee Road E9A #36A, besure to check out http://www.gprr.com/id34.htm .

Once the 36A arrives in Tacoma, more photos will be posted on the Golden Pacific Railroad web site and more photos will be posted of the locomotive's return to an *unknown* paint scheme at an later date.

Yup....Milwaukee Road. Totally unrepresented in the PNW except for a few box cars and cabooses in museums or private hands. It would be very appropriate for Tacoma as well. Maroon and Orange would be great, but the spimplified scheme would be OK with me as well and much easier to apply.

Also the reporting marks MTDX 100 could really be MTDX 36 and the reporting marks colored the same as the all of the other lettering on the unit

Once the E unit is out here and the process begins to repaint the locomotive into an *unknown* paint scheme, the number will be changed to it's orginal number.

Chicago area, I don't remember the city. The equipment should be Interchanged over to the BRC any time now, then it's off to the BNSF.
