Those are strange trucks on the Rail America geep.

That second unit looks like a GP40X. The trucks were used on only those locomotives experimentally, and only 23 were produced. Many of them are still around though. Nice catches.

Thanks! I recall the UP had some GP40X's with those trucks on them, that unit was enroute to the Kyle railroad , not sure if it's still running around on there or not

Based on the back of the unit, I'd guess that's an ex-Southern Pacific GP40X.
