Default Austin Texas interlocker pics

Ok, so last sunday We went to McNeil up in north Austin. On the way there there was a work crew right. They were drinkin' beeer in their pick-up, but they had all their tools out in the middle of the highway. So here we are rolling down mopac when we hit this ladder at 70 mph. It didn't do more than a couple o' dents tho. O well here are the pics...

1. While goin' up mopac we saw a short southbound manifest led by an SD60M.

2. The AUAR railway yard just east of McNeil.

3. A UP coal Porter with 2 AC4400CW's on the front, about 100 cars, and 1 AC4400CW on the back.

4. Here it is closer.

Nice catch of the AUAR. I used to work for the company that owns them.

Good catches Caleb. Just wait till you get your own car and go railfanning anytime you'd like. Well then work will get in the way - so enjoy it while you can.

the AUAR unit is not really a "good catch" though, because they always have about 10 units sitting at the yard up north. Such as SW1500's, GP15-1's, GP38-2's, GP40's, and 1 or 2 SD40-2's
