Default 27 subways in the Tokyo megalopolis

We are told by the Japanese there are only 2 "official" subway systems in Tokyo; Tokyo Metro with 9 subways and TOEI (city system) with 4 subways.
Since a subway is an underground railway with stations, there are 9 more in the city that fit that definition and 5 more in the Tokyo megalopolis area.

Details and photos are here: http://dickh.zenfolio.com/f346419713

And here is the "teaser" photo.

Looking towards Den'en Chofu, perhaps taken from the platform end at Tamagawa Station?

Exactly. I like this place nearly as much as I like Nippori for train watching. There is almost always a train in sight with a variety of liveries.

More of a Hikifune guy (I'm a big Tokyu 8500 series fan, lost interest in the Toyoko Line after the 8000 series were retired), but I see your point.
