I shot this stopped CSX southbound coal train one foggy morning in Woodruff, SC back in December 1992. The c40-8W's were brand new as was the CSX "bright Future" paint scheme. This line was a railfans delight since it was dark territory and US 220 followed the line south out of Spartanburg most of the way to Greenwood, SC.
