Thanks. I felt very frustrated being stuck inside while we had one of our prettiest autumns in 2-3 years.

Tuesday morning (11/21/17) I drove down to Sunset Ave. to kill time while my son was bowling. It was pouring rain and I had no plans to leave the comfort of my pickup until a Boeing train approached. Boeing 737 fuselages are usually transported on flatcars located at the head of a fast freight like an auto rack train. A train of just 737 fuselages on flat cars is not an everyday event, so I braved the elements for some grab shots.

Someone caught an almost identical Boeing train here in Nebraska yesterday. Had one more car on the end, but still 1 Locomotive and four 737s.

Does anyone know what determines whether the fuselage cars are coupled to the head of a freight or run by themselves as a separate train? One of the most interesting separate Boeing trains I have ever seen was back in the late 90's at Sandpoint, ID. Three or four fuselages were pulled by a single yellow-bonnet Santa Fe GP30.

GP60B 326 was sandwiched between repainted SD75i's 255 and 253 at the head of a northbound (tt/east) freight that rolled through Edmonds Wednesday (11/22/17) afternoon.

The freight was followed by a pair of Geeps, probably the returning Goldbar Turn.

Black Friday (11/24/17) started out at the marsh. You can see those photos in the MP 17 thread.

My son and I went to Sunset Ave., where we saw the morning Vancouver, BC-Seattle Cascades pulled by the Seahawks diesel.

The Cascades was followed by a container train.

The container train was followed by a Boeing bunker train powered by two clean, shiny Swooped-out Geeps.

Another southbound (tt/west) Boeing bunker train rolled past Sunset Ave. around noon on Wednesday (11/29/17).
