From last Wednesday (5/10/17) at the marsh. This northbound (tt/east) had a nice mix of power with a CSX unit (sans lightning bolt) up front...

Most of my MP 17 photos are taken while I am photographing birds at the Edmonds marsh, a rather unique pocket of nature tucked within an urban area. Here is a brief history of the marsh for those who may be interested.

    A few "marshscapes" I took in 2016.

You have a few nice photos on their website, including that one of the coyote! I saw a coyote here in the middle of the city last week. Just wish my camera was ready for it...

A northbound (tt/east) with an interesting lashup passed by the marsh Tuesday (5/16/16) morning. Several of these units are probably older than many members reading this thread.

2763 looks like a rebuilt GP30 based on the shape of the dynamic brake blister. The Diesel Shop says it is a former Southern unit, so it probably had a high hood that was replaced with a low hood during the rebuilding process.
2361 is listed as a former Frisco unit.

The day continued at Brackett's Landing. Photos can be seen on the MP 18 thread.

Thanks. I let many local groups and government agencies use my photos for educational purposes.
