Thread: Trains Album of Photographs(1940's)

  1. Default Trains Album of Photographs(1940's)

    Hello,
I have several photo album books of different railroad systems in the US. These books date from 1943-46. Each book contains photos and descriptions of trains in different regions. The books were published by the Kalmbach Publishing Company in Milwaukee Wisconsin. They are thin paper backs with cardboard covers. All of them are in pretty good condition, and the photos are very nice, on quality, glossy paper. Would these photo books have any value?

Here are some examples of the books:

    Thanks for looking!

I do have a book from 1943, it's book 2 of The Trains Album of Photographs and it covers the far Western railroads. I scanned through it briefly and it seems to cover the Southern Pacific, Northern Pacific, Union Pacific, and the Santa Fe. The book's roughly 20 pages long. There's a title page and each page after can be 1 or numerous photographs with captions.
