The only problem is that it is written in norwegian but that doesn't take away the pictures.

This is a test of an idea that just dawned on me...
A drawback; it will contain all kind of pictures from the photo gallery, not just roster shots.
And it depends on others do the keywords correct.
I will not be able to fill this with photos of all types as many are extinct.

No one ever thought of preserving them or they were canabalized when their service time was done thus leaving nothing to preserve but a shell? I guess when you retire in Norway, you really retire

I still think the sesame street look-a-like engine is quite unusual. But as long as it delivers...

Ohh well, there is a railway museum at Hamar. They do their job on preserving history. The fact that we have a steam locomotive and the correct carriages from 1861 in running order is a proof of that. About 2 % of the steamlocomotives that we had are preserved. They cut up a lot for scrap though. I think the museum people and the railway society are quite busy these days.
