That's always been a bad area.

I'm not clear, though, on the train. Pasco-Centralia via Auburn? 2 units and 4 cars? I know it's not the point of the post, but it intrigued me.

The M PASCEW (Pasco to Centralia manifest train) is brought north from Vancouver by Seattle "south pool" crews. The train is supposed to terminate at Centralia, and the crew normally rides in a van north the rest of the way to Interbay, but sometimes there will be cars on the train for Interbay, and the crew will bring the train the rest of the way north after setting out cars at Centralia. Other times, there may be no cars at all, but the engines need to go to Interbay to be used on some outbound train, so the crew will run light power from Centralia to Interbay.

the K crew was going to set out in Stacy and put the power to the Champion track but that took the cars to the PC running and power to interbay for inspection and cleaning and maybe pull the "event recorder"
