Simpson to close Shelton Mill.

Railroadforums.com is a free online Railroad Discussion Forum and Railroad Photo Gallery for railroaders, railfans, model railroaders and anyone else who is interested in railroads. We cover a wide variety of topics, including freight trains, passenger and commuter railroads, rail news and information, tourist railroads, railway museums and railroad history.

The PSAP line will remain, as it also services the Bremerton Shipyard and the Bangor Sub Base. The US Navy may or may not need the line to transport cars which may or may not carry weapons which may or may not have nuclear weapons. That's all they'll tell anyone, but they seem awfully touchy about whatever is in those boxcars.

As for the Simpson Line, the news there probably isn't nearly as good. Most of it is already gone. The line from Dry Sort to the high bridge would have made a great tourist railway, the line from town to dry sort probably isn't scenic enough to justify such a move.
