Hey, guys. A question- I was recently part of the hiring process for a Conductor Position with CN rail in Michigan. I passed all my tests, went to the group interview, passed the switch test, and interviewed. For whatever reason they opted not to hire me. I've recently applied for a signs and signal apprenticeship at the same yard. I'm wondering what kind of background they prefer, if you're coming from Ammon rail industry, and if I need to know people. Please, any information you can pass along would be great. I'm going to keep trying till they blacklist me. Conducting and signal maintenance would be my desired career field.
