I have Created a new -Railfans of Omaha & Council Bluffs- Yahoo Group.

There is currently an "Omaha Group" but lately is has turned in to politics and off topic BS. This new group is not ment to be a replacement to railroad forums, just an additional reasource for railfans in the Greater Omaha and Council Bluffs are. I will still post my photos on here, the group is great for a quick heads up and easy communication between local railfans.

This group is for railfans in the Greater Omaha and Council Bluffs area that are interested in railfanning as a hobby. The "Area" is loosely defined as eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa.

Appropriate Discussions on this group include:
1. Trackside Reports
2. Sharing Photography
3. Heads up on railroad movements

Discussion Not Appropriate Include, but not limited to:
A. Politics
B. Subjects outside the Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa Region.
