Palestine Sub Tie Replacement

The local fox station in Houston shot a news story about the tie replacement project that is taking place on the Palestine Sub between Spring Jct. and Belt Jct (16 miles) in Houston.

How far up the line are they going, like i mean are they going past Belt Jct or staying in that area only

As far as I know they are just going to Belt Jct. or that's what I've been told. It's hard for me to tell now that I live 110 miles from Spring Jct. If they go any further than Belt Jct. they will have rail traffic all over the city of Houston backed up. But I guess they'll have to do the terminal subs at some point in time.

Maybe someone in Houston can check this out an confirm if what I've been told is right.
