Trains have always been very special to me. My father built my first train layout before I could even walk and I can still hear the echos of Southern Pacific's black iron jetting past the neighborhood of my first home.

Over the past several years I've been rediscovering my love of the rails and am currently brushing up on my railroading history so I can spend a little time as a docent at the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento in the future.

Looking to connect with railfans in the area.

Cheers,
Chris

I lived in Sacramento from 1973-83. For a while I lived in Curtis Park across the street from the WP's South Sac yard. I have a lot of slides from those days that I should transfer to DVD.
