Amtrak MidwestSM network service modifications due to reduced travel demand are in partnership with the Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Missouri state transportation departments.
The following temporary service suspensions are in effect (some since March 13) and remain so until further notice:
Anyone planning to travel should check their train status on Amtrak.com or our smartphone apps prior to departing, allow extra time to get to the station and be extremely careful in stations and on platforms. To be notified of service disruptions, follow @AmtrakAlerts on Twitter.

Modified schedules in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Missouri

The following temporary service suspensions are in effect (some since March 13) and remain so until further notice:
- Chicago-Milwaukee corridor service restoration began June 1 with additional Hiawatha round-trips on June 29. Morning, afternoon and evening departures by Trains 330, 332, 338 & 342 from Milwaukee and Trains 329, 331, 337 & 339 from Chicago. Trains 329 & 330 will operate only on weekdays, all other trains daily. Reservations required except for holders of current Hiawatha Multi-Ride Tickets. Hiawatha peak fare surcharge suspended. Modified schedule on the I-41 Thruway Bus corridor with a single daily round-trip that connects with the Trains 332 & 339.
- Chicago-St. Louis corridor service reduced to three daily round-trips by Lincoln Service Trains 300, 303, 306 & 307 and Texas Eagle Trains 21/421 & 22/422.
- Chicago-Carbondale corridor service reduced to two daily round-trips by Illini/Saluki Trains 390 & 393 and City of New Orleans Trains 58 & 59.
- Chicago-Macomb-Quincy corridor service reduced to one daily round-trip by Illinois Zephyr Trains 380 & 383.
- Chicago-Detroit-Pontiac corridor service reduced to one daily round-trip by Wolverine Trains 351 & 352.
- Chicago-Holland-Grand Rapids daily service by Pere Marquette Trains 370 & 371 restored on June 29 & 30.
- Kansas City-Jefferson City-St. Louis corridor service by Missouri River Runner reduced to one daily round-trip by Trains 313 & 314, starting Monday, March 30.
- Chicago-East Lansing-Port Huron daily service by Blue Water Trains 364 & 365.
