On September 28 of last year I headed for Spokane to attend a high school reunion. Just south of Ritzville I came across the first of many stopped trains. It was an eastbound grain train. At the west end of Tokio siding was a stopped intermodal. (Next two photos).
At the east end of Tokio siding within sight of the intermodal an eastbound autorack held the main.A few miles further east an eastbound grain train was stopped at Keystone. By this time I was wondering what was wrong.
