We promised to post photos when our Crown Metals "Little Toot" 24-inch loco restoration was completed, and after 14 months, lots of head scratching, and the valuable assistance of folks here for advice and the shops of Tweetsie Railroad, who manufactured some irreplaceable parts for us, we're back on the rails, to the delight of our young visitors to the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in Miami, Fl. One photo shows the stripped chassis, and the other is, obviously, the (almost) finished product. Almost, as we are having an artist do gold-leaf lettering and decoration to complete the effect, but we had a major event and needed to get back on track regardless. So, thanks, everyone!
