Hunter Harrison, CSX's famed and controversial CEO has died according to sources at CSX as reported in the Wall Street Journal.

"At the time of his death on Saturday at the age of 73, Mr. Harrison had left unfinished his most challenging assignment, the turnaround of CSX Corp"

That's pretty crazy. He was in poor health and took a leave of absence on Thursday. Time will tell if he was good for CSX or not, or if he was there long enough to have a positive effect. I know many railroaders hated him, but he sure did make the Canadians profitable.
