I am someone who has always liked trains. I often hope to get stopped at crossings when going for "Sunday drives". It often doesn't happen of course.
When I was a little kid we lived near a train crossing and according to my parents I'd often get up late at night and practically break the window with my nose pressed to the glass when the train would pass. I really liked the signals. They took that crossing out and I recall being one royally pissed of little kid. I bet I'm not the only one.
This is just my secret little side of me that only my close family really knows about. :D

Wecome to the forum. I suggest you add your location to your public profile or signature line. There may be other members in your area that you might run into when stopped at crossings.
