GE plant; Ft. Worth/Justin, TX, 3/24/14.

Thanks to a valued contact, adjusted my recon of the plant for later versions of the GE Shuttle, as the testing runs of new locomotives are known on BNSF. It looks as if recently they are waiting until Amtrak #821 clears before requesting a slot for the test runs. Monday's GE shuttle indeed was one of those that got underway post-821. Even then, it was like shooting fish in a barrel, as he waited at Lambert for an unknown reason (T&T?), and then went in again at Justin for the southbound Z. From there, it was an uneventful run up to South Wye, where they were reversed for the southbound return. This was at 2PM; the s/b run would have been in west-side decent light south of Ponder IF they had to wait for any n/b traffic.
