Marty, it runs on steam!
I’ve been drawing a Christmas card each year for probably over 20 years now. Since I got married and got our first dachshund, all the cards have had wiener dog themes. Our pup Charlie is black-and-tan, but that’s really hard to render so I usually do a ‘red’ dachshund instead. The printed ones go out only to immediate family and close friends (usually no more than about 30 or so each year), but I usually do a digital version online. This year I really got ambitious with the original artwork for the digital version.

This year, my wife and I went on a cross-country sightseeing road trip and left Charlie at home. He was probably much happier with my wife’s family but we’ve joked about how he felt about being left behind for almost a month. This is what I made of that, I hope you like it.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
