A Colorado Railfan!
Yesterday I decided to head to Brush once again and it was a pretty nice day with 5 trains in just three hours. Here are the trains.
Train 1: Running 51 minutes late, Amtrak #5 races through Irondale as it tries and makes up time into Denver.
Train 2: We are now set up at the crossing near Sable by an old shed as the Denver to Chicago (Z-DENCHI) Z-Train blasts through with Domestics and Trailers for Willow Springs and Chicago.
Train 3: Back at Irondale, we see the Hudsdon Turn pull into the siding to do a set out. Power on today's train is a EMDX GP38-2 and a ex BN GP39M.
Train 4: At Tonville, a loaded coal train races through the west end of Tonville and under the bridge at Lochbuie.
Train 5: The Hudson turn is seen pulling into the siding at Hudson after doing work at Rescar for a meet with a coal empty. Moments later, the coal empty blasts by and soon after the local heads back west.
