I don't care if nothing came by (actually very possible with the track work going on here), I'm going to get out in this beautiful weather!

A quick run down to Rosenberg found an empty BNSF grain in the hole. But since he was facing wrong for the sun, I skipped him and decided to see if anything was coming in from the north since it would have much better light. Headlights in the distance said my timing was darn good....

Waiting to get onto UP tracks from their Macaroni Line, KCS waits for the maintenance up ahead to give them a window to move into Houston. They might be awhile....UP's pile driver is still pounding away down in Sugar Land.

While I'm shooting this, the Rosenberg local (which had been sitting in their siding just north of the diamond) skeedaddles out and heads south on the heels of King Coal. That's 4 trains in 20 minutes.
