    Notchless air throttle and Davies Metcalf brake valve, these EE's did take a bit of getting used to when I first was exiled to Tassie.     A pair of ex VR (mexican) G26C X class lurk in Bathurst NSW. Five of the 13 units in service are regauged to standard, the remainder staying on the broad gauge. No point cop in Bathurst West signal box any longer to dob me in for loitering in the yard at night time.

    Tasrail southbound freighter 35 slams across the Ulverstone bridge in TAS hauled by three rebuilt DQ EMDs with a nonrebuilt QR thing in blue. The three QR units are used only as slugs, the cab being unfit for human habitation, plus also no radio etc.
