My first IC repaint shot of the year. A little bit of every thing here. A GTW GP38-2 in the lead and an IC repaint SD40-2 in second place, and a centerbeam flat car is in third place. They're all passing through Senatobia, MS.
Grand Trunk 6228 roars through Senatobia, Miss with CN Local Freight L57671. Note: You know You're a railfan when: When You work on a clothes route for the Dry Cleaners and you intentionally leave the laundry bags on a Friday afternoon and the beginning of the next week (Which is a Monday.) you...
An SD40-2, proud and strong. Seen here with CN 2405 on a short manifest train. Considering the lenghth of the train, I think the power is well suited to the operation.
CP SD40-2 6066, missing its lettering from the front, a CP red barn SD40-2F, and SOO SD60M 6060, one of 5 SOO SD60Ms, lead a southbound manifest over the Wisconsin River in some nice fall colors.
This photo is for all you skeptics out there who think of Sutherland and the PNL as a secondary line without much traffic. You're right of course, but from the right vantage point, thing sure look different. CP 5951 is getting ready to take 457 out to Calgary as the potash and grain hoppers...
Here's the M-PASVAW-1-07A meeting the V-PTLLPC-8-07E at the Maryhill siding. The 3rd unit is a GP28 #1521 that is an Operation Lifesaver paint scheme. #1521 is rebuilt from a GN GP5 #905.
An old SD40-2 leads a SD90MAC on a mixed. No reason for them to be smoking that hard as the train had only about 20 cars thus was way overpowered anyways.
SD40-2s in Saskatchewan? Thats right. The second unit just happens to be one of thoes old GEC patch jobs to boot! I didn't catch the numbers, but I beleive the second unit is CN 6941.
